An experience from Terneuzen Hotels 

Thursday, April 17, 2025: a date that the city of Terneuzen and we at Terneuzen Hotels will not soon forget. Our city shone as the backdrop for the fifteenth anniversary edition of The Passion, and we had the honor of literally being a home for the people who made this unforgettable event possible; the crew, the cast, and the artists.

Terneuzen, often seen as a quiet port city, was in the spotlight that evening. The city showcased its best side and showed all of the Netherlands that there is pride in what Terneuzen has to offer.

Some of our staff put on their jackets and ventured into the city center to experience the spectacle up close. Others settled in at home in front of the television. And most of us? We stood ready to ensure our guests had an unforgettable evening. Because it was time for what we do best: pampering our guests.

Hospitality for the creators 

From the moment preparations began, you could feel it: this was going to be special. The Town Hall Square slowly transformed into a live stage where the Easter story came to life in an impressive way. 

The lights, the music, the tension – the city came alive. And that feeling also entered our hotel.

From sound technicians to stage assistants, from the impressive lead actors to the artists who touched us all with their voices, they found rest, space, and comfort with us amidst the preparations. 

And that felt special. Because as a hotel, you often serve tourists or business guests, but this week we were able to contribute to something greater: a live TV spectacle that touched millions of people, and that came to life here, in our Terneuzen.

To the organization, the cast, the crew: thank you for your trust. And to everyone who experienced The Passion in Terneuzen, we know one thing for sure: it was not just an evening on television; it was an experience that we as a city and as a hotel will never forget.
