Festival de Ballade takes place at the Kopje of Canada on July 4, 5, and 6, 2025!

The Festival de Ballade in Terneuzen is a unique event with a special history. What began in 2017 as a reunion concert for the legendary Zeeuws-Vlaamse band Lamaketta's quickly grew into an iconic three-day festival. In no time, it attracted more than eight thousand enthusiastic visitors. The success of this event was not only due to the music but also to the beautiful location.

What makes the Ballade Festival so special is its impressive setting. While gigantic container ships pass closely by the festival grounds on their way to Antwerp, they create a spectacular spectacle. The constant shipping traffic through the locks is a visual highlight, and the sunset over the Scheldt completes the experience.
