Get into the mood for autumn!
It's getting dark earlier again and the first leaves are falling from the trees. The warm sweaters are coming out of the closet. It's autumn! The time for cozy evenings, long autumn walks, and warm drinks by the fireplace. With the tips below, you can make autumn a delightful time.
Prepare your home for autumn
The (scented) candles can finally come out of the closet again. This instantly creates ambiance in your home now that it’s getting dark outside so early. You can also bring some autumn decorations into your house. How about pumpkins at your front door? Or make beautiful creations with items from the forest. You can create something nice with autumn leaves, pinecones, and acorns. Don’t like autumn? Use the opportunity to add some new items to your wardrobe.
Get outdoors
Nature is at its most beautiful in autumn. The forests turn yellow, red, and brown. Mushrooms spring up from the ground, and who knows, you might spot the fly agaric, recognized by its red color with white spots. Whether you go for a walk or a bike ride, take a thermos of coffee or tea with you and go discover all the beauty!
Seek out coziness!
The autumn break is the perfect opportunity to meet up with your best friend or mother. Come enjoy in our restaurant with good company over a Pumpkin Spice Latte or a delicious lunch while listening to the raindrops tapping against the window in the background. Do this after a walk along the dike by the Westerschelde. Or skip the walk and come enjoy right away!
